A COURSE IN MIRACLES
On Limits...
The Course clearly states that we are limitless beings. I am listing these lines that reference limitlessness as a reminder of what is truly possible.
- Let me not see myself as limited.
- What limits can I lay upon God's son?
- There is no limit to the power of a Son of God, but he can limit the expression of his power as much as he chooses.
- What we can accomplish together has no limits, because the call for God is the call to the unlimited.
- God does not limit His gifts in any way.
- Your wholeness has no limits because being is infinity.
- Only you can limit your creative power, but God wills to release it.
- There is no limit on your learning because there is no limit in your mind.
- I give you no limits because God lays none upon you.
- When you limit yourself, we are not of one mind, and that is sickness.
- This sense of limitation is where all errors arise.
- This is not because he limits his giving, but simply because you have limited your receiving.
- Love does not limit, and what it creates is not limited.
- To give without limit is God's Will for you, because only this can bring you the joy that is His and that He wills to share with you.
- ...any limitation on your power is not the Will of God.
- ...do not try to limit what you see by narrow little beliefs that are unworthy of God's Son.
- Do not set limits on what you believe I can do through you, or you will not accept what I can do for you.
- ...by limiting yourself, you will not be satisfied.
- Limits are demanded by the ego, and represent its demands to make little and ineffectual.
- The special relationship is a device for limiting yourself to a body, and for limiting your perception of others to theirs.
